Stephen Coltrin, Chairman and CEO of Coltrin & Associates, has given strategic counsel and communications support to executives worldwide and been the driving force behind all Coltrin’s initiatives for over 30 years. His counsel has driven growth and revenue for companies including Nintendo, 3Com, Burger King, Salt Lake City Olympics, Smiths Detection, Bain Capital and others. Mr. Coltrin currently serves as Vice Chairman of the International Radio and Television Society Foundation, is on the National Advisory Board of America’s Freedom Festival, and is on the Advisory and Advancement Council of the Utah State University Journalism & Communication Department. Mr. Coltrin has received many honors, including the prestigious Chapel of Four Chaplains Award, the Leo Hindery Media Ethics and Values Speaker of the Year, and Honorary Vice Chairmen for Broadcasting & Cable’s Hall of Fame Awards.
Jennifer Webb
Senior Vice President of Operations
Ms. Webb, Vice President of Media and Performance Excellence, has been with Coltrin for five years. Ms. Webb is primarily responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by driving all media activities and maintaining clear communication channels with every client. Ms. Webb's role has included extensive work with health care trades, highlighting a variety of new technologies and currently includes global strategy for multi-billion dollar international technology firm, Smiths Detection, developing new international market media strategies for Quiznos, and driving U.S. branding media for Cold Stone Creamery. Prior to her current position, Ms. Webb served as a Director, Account Manager and Account Executive, developing media coverage for multiple clients and initiatives.
Susan Surillo Battafarano
VP Human Resources & Executive Services
Susan Surillo Battafarano is Vice President of Human Resources and Executive Services. She has been with Coltrin and Associates, Inc. since 1998 and has served in various capacities of administrative handling and day to day operations for the firm and the executive management team. Prior to joining Coltrin, Susan worked for Union Bank of Switzerland in New York in their Investment Banking and Business Development departments as executive assistant to several managing directors. From 1982-1993 she worked in the reinsurance industry at Constitution Reinsurance Corporation in their Human Resources and then Claims department.
Allison Riley
Managing Director
Allison Riley has extensive experience managing and executing all facets of media-driven campaigns on behalf of a number of clients, including Ancestry.com, Cold Stone Creamery, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Quiznos, Tim Hortons and Viridian Energy. Her work at Coltrin includes preparing strategic communications plans, creating corporate and announcement messaging, directing teams in identifying and reaching out to appropriate media contacts, handling media preparation with CEOs or other designated spokespersons, facilitating media interviews between spokespersons and top-tier media outlets, and directing efforts to record and deliver resulting coverage to clients. Prior to joining Coltrin, Allison managed public relations clientele for a Salt Lake City-based PR/advertising agency, developing and managing communications initiatives for Subway restaurants and the Salt Lake City Marathon, among others. Allison holds degrees in business marketing and corporate communications from Utah State University.
Jackie Ibanez
Managing Director
Jackie Ibanez, Managing Director for Coltrin and Associates, currently manages several technology accounts for the firm and works with the senior management team to develop client strategy. Prior to joining Coltrin & Associates, Jackie worked as a News Anchor for an NBC affiliate in Massachusetts. Jackie’s stories have been featured on MSNBC and CNN. In 2010, Jackie won an Associated Press award for breaking news coverage following a string of deadly arson fires in Northampton, Massachusetts. When not behind the anchor desk, Jackie was reporting live from the scene and at times producing her own show. Jackie provided news updates for local radio stations, and served as a community advocate for March of Dimes, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society and local homeless shelters. Jackie earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Quinnipiac University.
