Honoring Roger KingNEW YORK, May 10, 2007 – CBS Television Distribution CEO Roger King was awarded The International Radio and Television Society Foundation 2007 Gold Medal Award. The presentation dinner was held at a black-tie gala at New York City's Waldorf-Astoria.
"IRTS looks forward to saluting the profound impact Roger King has had on the television industry," said IRTS President and CEO Joyce Tudryn. "Long known for his Midas touch in creating and selling successful, ground-breaking syndicated programs, he is the quintessential recipient for our IRTS Gold Medal Award." Coltrin & Associates assisted the team at CBS in arranging for the media to be present on the red carpet, leveraging contacts with major magazines and paparazzi. At the event, the Coltrin team organized the media, allowing for smooth transitions and successful interview and photograph sessions. Media turnout was excellent and Coltrin received excellent feedback from CBS.
