IRTS 50th Anniversary: "A Salute to the Past and a Celebration of the Choices We Have Today"

NEW YORK, October 1, 2009 – The International Radio and Television Society holds a signature event each year to commemorate success and acknowledge hard work.  This year, awards were given out under the theme of “Saluting the Past and Celebrating the Choices We Have Today”. Honoring the development and success of branded content, Gold Medals were awarded to the following recipients:

Coltrin & Associates’ founder and CEO, Steve Coltrin sits of the board of the IRTS and is very involved in the development of the radio and television industry. The awards celebration is an opportunity to rub shoulders with the talent, connect with producers, and further relationships with clients.  Attending stars this year include CNBC’s “Mad Money” host, Jim Cramer, Cybill Sheppard, Stacy London from TLC’s “What Not to Wear”, Mike Rowe from Discovery Channel's “Dirty Jobs”, TLC's Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, and Sherri Sheppard from ABC's The View.
