Coltrin & Associates began working with a start-up cosmetic medical company called Advanced Aesthetics Institute to brand its corporate team and to create buzz around the launch of its first facility in West Palm Beach, Florida. A key business objective of AAI was to integrate salon, spa and cosmetic medical services under a master brand using outcomes-based evaluation.

Coltrin proactively created interest in the company and secured a of high profile-articles and television interviews, including The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Time, CNN, Los Angeles Times, Fortune, and VH1. As a result of early media attention, Coltrin began working with producers at ABC News to develop a storyline and news angle for a segment on “Primetime Thursday with Diane Sawyer.” Through constant, one-on-one interaction with producers, Coltrin helped create a positive, full-hour report which catapulted a nascent company to the national screen as an industry leader.

Coltrin also worked to secure media interest in future markets for AAI, attracting additional partners and creating advance demand for AAI’s services and products. Coltrin increased sales through strategic messaging and proactive media outreach.

The targeted media campaign helped attract a $20 million investment from L Capital, the investment arm of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy SA, and a $10 million investment from Technology Investment Capital Corp (TICC), a publicly traded business development company.
